This consultation has now concluded. You are able to access the feedback from the consultation in infographic format via the document library.



The City of Launceston is committed to developing a plan for the future of living, working and playing in Invermay, Mowbray, Newnham, Mayfield, Rocherlea, Ravenswood and Waverley.

All members of the community are invited and encouraged to have their say on what this plan should consider.

Topics the City of Launceston want to hear about include:

  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Housing
  • Transport
  • Infrastructure and Public Spaces

Specific points have been identified from reports, and from information that the community has already provided. The City of Launceston wants to make sure these points are still relevant to you and the future of your community. These points are called 'Talking Points' and as the name suggests, highlights what we should be talking about for the benefit of individuals, families and the community. Each survey details the Talking Points relevant to the topic being discussed and asks for your feedback.

The City of Launceston will use the information that you provide to better understand each of the topics above. This will help in conversations about the future.

Submissions on behalf of an organisation, business, committee or group

An invitation to provide a submission to inform the My Place My Future Plan has been extended to all organisations, businesses and/or committees or groups.

To provide a submission:

  • Check out the Talking Points and Frequently Asked Questions
  • Read the City of Launceston Personal Information Protection Statement
  • Complete the cover sheet with all required information
  • Prepare a formal statement. This formal statement should be in a Word document, and clearly indicate the Talking Point being addressed.
    • It is not a requirement to provide comment on all Talking Points;
    • Additional comments addressing topics not included in the Talking Points, but relevant to the scope of the My Place My Future Plan, are also invited.
  • Email the completed cover sheet and the submission to Nicole Lucas
