How do you imagine the Cataract Gorge Reserve & Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area in 2030?
Consultation for this project has concluded.
Will it be somewhere you want to go? Will it be somewhere everyone wants to go?
You can help shape its future!
The Reimagining the Cataract Gorge Project is aimed at developing a vision for 632 hectares of our City - the Cataract Gorge Reserve and the Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area (TNRA). The vision will guide and inform us on how to move forward into the future. It is a joint project of the City of Launceston, the Tasmanian Government and Tourism North Tasmania.
In November last year the City of Launceston invited representatives of the study area's communities of interest to a workshop at Aurora Stadium to begin planning the project's broader community engagement process. This workshop identified eight themes to build the future around. From the workshop, a draft paper outlining the Vision, Guiding Principles, Themes & Possible Responses has been developed and is available for you to read.Have Your Say Today!
