The storage area is reserved for bicycles only. It is between two stop lines at a traffic light controlled intersection, has a green surface and is marked with a bike symbol. The purpose of these storage areas is to make it safer for cyclists waiting at traffic lights. They will be more visibile to motorists which will prevent vehicles turning across their path. It will also allow a number of cyclists to pass through an intersection together.
