This consultation has concluded.
Launceston City Council has committed to engaging with our community on the Levels of Service we provide to our residents.
Seven different consultations that cover everything the Council is responsible for will be run over the next three years.
First up - Our PARKS AND RECREATIONAL areas!
Maintaining the same levels of service across Launceston's Parks and Recreation areas (as shown in the map) will cost the Council over $12 million in the upcoming 2013/14 financial year.
Check out this map to see just how many and how often these areas are maintained.
That's a lot of money. So the sort of things we need to know from you are...
Are you satisfied with the standard of Launceston's recreational areas? Are they a pleasant place to spend time in? Do they have the right equipment and facilities in the right places?
Take a few minutes to check out The Budget Allocator tool and show us how you would spend the money!
Take less than 2 minutes to complete The Survey on the PROPOSED Parks and Recreation projects
Take less than five seconds to complete The Quick Poll on how often you use these areas.
