Let's ensure our City continues to thrive no matter what stresses or challenges we experience.
We are now facing real challenges from climate change, growing population, and resource and infrastructure limitations that risk our way of life. Building our resilience is what will help us adapt and transform in the face of these challenges.
It is Council’s responsibility to lead the way in creating a more resilient Launceston, but we can’t do it alone. Resilience relies on everyone coming together, strengthening the way we connect and work together, and building each of our individual resilience.

It is Council’s responsibility to lead the way in creating a more resilient Launceston, but we can’t do it alone. Resilience relies on everyone coming together, strengthening the way we connect and work together, and building each of our individual resilience.
This survey is to find out your ideas and suggestions about making Launceston more resilient. A resilient City includes topics about environmental protection and management, emergency and disaster response and how we ‘bounce-back’ and prepare for unexpected challenges.
The information you give us here will be used to help us learn more about creating a more resilient Launceston. The data will be used by Council in accordance with our Personal Information Protection Policy and will never be passed on to a third party without prior consent. City of Launceston may contact you for further community engagement activities.
Some of the information you provide us will be baseline data that we will ask again periodically.
